SCREEN PRINTING - a rip-roaring good time

"random sketch out of boredom + shoddy old floral print = fairly successful screen printing project" i wanted that to be the title of this post, but i think it may be a bit too long... and uncalled for. i'm taking a screen printing class at the KIA (kalamazoo institute of art). it's a rip-roaring good time! no, seriously, its nice to be making art whilst being away from any sort of electronic device... besides the old imacs... and the transparency printer... and the light projector... and all the photoshopping... k, just forget that last part about the electronic devices.

YOU'RE NEVER TOO OLD - birthday surprise

i once thought about entering the glorious field of greeting card design. i think this is the closest i've come to it. maybe not my forte, but it was a good time. my coworker friend decided to surprise another coworker friend of ours who was feeling down about the arrival of her 25th bday. so old, i know. hah! anyway, she gave her a basket full of girly goodness such as fingernail polish, a journal, and a bottle of bubbles. and we hung this pic outside her cubical so everybody would know it's her special dreaded bday ;)

SPACE COWBOY - err, umm- girl...

yay! creation engines, this was fun! i'm not sure where this idea came from, lately my thoughts have been pretty random and a bit haphazard. last night i was asking myself why she appears to have roped herself a dairy cow. but then again... she's in outerspace... so what she's roped should be the least of my worries ;p

here's some screen shots of my progress on the project. you can see my thought process, where i decided to change things, add more color, clean things up, ect. its like you're inside my head reading my thoughts, man! *hides under desk*

RSBOENSCH.COM UPDATES - new ani tests and nudie drawings

hah. i just copied this over from my myspace blog. seriously, how many blogs does one girl need??

there's a rundown on the home page, but in short, i added new sketches, figure drawings, animation tests and new photos from the center for new media show last month.

oh yeah, i also added some new pics to my photobucket account. mostly photos from where i work, but they're a riveting good time. hah...
